Do I Have To Attend Weekly Appointments?
Every person is unique and timing of appointments reflects that. Some clients ask for weekly sessions, while others choose to meet more often to overcome their traumas quicker, and some wish to have less frequent appointments to fit in with their budget or absorb learning, adapt to new ways of thinking and reacting to life’s events.
Who Will Know I Have Made An Appointment?
Confidentiality and discretion are paramount; appointments are timed so you won’t accidentally meet other clients arriving or leaving your sessions. Life Designs’ office is within a building of mixed businesses; therefore you could be in the building for any number of reasons, only you and I will know why you’re here.
Where Can I Have An Appointment?
Appointments are at 82 King Street, Manchester, M2 4WQ. From experience therapy works best when people come to the office. Clients report that during their journey to and from their session they have time and space to reflect on previous appointments and focus on the next. The added bonus of reflection is clients (on average) spend less time in therapy.
There are occasions where clients need telephone or Skype appointments. These appointments are ideal for people who travel, live a distance from the office or are unable to travel into Manchester.
When Are Appointments Available?
Appointments are available Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 9.00am and 7.00pm.
How Much Will It Cost?
Counselling and psychotherapy is a lasting investment in your happiness and wellbeing, and the cost of each session is probably less than you pay for a night out. All therapies are £80 per hour. Unlike some therapists, I deliver a full therapy hour, and ask you to allow additional time (but not money) because settling in and booking a future appointment is not included in the therapy hour.
