You may have chosen this site because you know exactly what you want, or, perhaps you’re not sure about the help you need and are searching for answers. My hope for you is that within these pages you find what you are looking for. And if you have unanswered questions please feel free to ask them.
Like some of my clients you may be nervous or embarrassed about seeking counselling, believing you should be able to handle your problems; or your issues need to be earth-shattering to justify professional help; or it might the problems even more 'real'. The truth is, it's safe to seek help and it’s a sign of strength and self-respect.
Maybe you can think of counselling as a workout for your brain? It's normal to review your lifestyle and begin exercising to achieve a better level of fitness and wellbeing — why not do the same for your thoughts and feelings?
By providing a calm, confidential and accepting environment I've helped hundreds of people overcome their difficulties and find their inner strengths, and I can help you achieve these things too, all you need to do is ask, call 0161 710 2468 or email

Events from the past can affect what we do now and in the future. When those events are preventing us from living the life we want, it’s time to take action. I will help you learn how to:
|
handle and overcome your emotions. change unwanted behaviours and reactions. create motivation and confidence. realise your potential and become the person you want to be.
Making an appointment is a way of reminding yourself - you’re worth it. If you still find the thoughts of asking for help scary, you might try:
asking a trusted friend to come along and wait for you.
making your appointment for a day and time when you have plenty of time to relax before and after.
focus on the positive reasons for your therapy, such as taking care of yourself, feeling better in the long run, being proactive and tackling your fears to become a more relaxed and happier person.
